I am disappointed that the soundtrack did not include the beautiful opera aria, which was my main curiosity. Beautiful, moving music for quiet times with a little added soulfulness and salsa. Would have given 5 stars if I could have found out that one.(any input appreciated).
Not plastic or contrived,in my opinion, nor does it sound formula driven. But I do know good music when I hear it, and this stands out.
Highly recommended. A nice piece by Chet Baker on it among others.
I love this soundtrack. You may or may not agree, but I think most mainstream music is anemic, vapid and trite so this soundtrack came as a pleasant surprise.
Soulful, moving music. I am not, however, a professional musician.
All the other artists are unknown to me, which makes it an even better find.
I was so taken with it as I watched the movie, that I went out today and bought the soundtrack. Beautiful, beautiful music. Very soothing to listen to.I highly recommend it.
